You've reached the end
By the condition of the oil it looks like itβs never been changed itβs jet black π₯
Oil changes are cheaper than engines π
The wet belt bandit strikes again!!! π
Seriously. How on earth did the abomination that is the wet belt get past endurance testing?? The damn things need to be outlawed.
To all 2.0 ecoblue commercial vehicle owners,6k mile oil changes, youβre welcomeπ.
This van needs to go to Turkey and get new teeth ππ
Probably could have been avoided if the owner just changed the oil more often. Saving a few quid on oil changes has cost them thousands in engine repairs.
Makes me wonder if ford do this on purpose? Knowing it will lead to huge spending with them
40,000 miles? Plus another 30,000 miles at least! The amount of crap dust & muck on that engine says itβs probably covered 70/80,000 miles maybe more.
Hate to say it but depends how you drive it and look after it.
Gloves son, that oil is carcinogenic...
Give me an old fashioned Timing Chain over a wet belt any day of the week. Ford make Eco Boom engines
Clocked back most likely
Ford should get a class action lawsuit for this!
This guy looks more like a bodybuilder model, more than a mechanic. I bet a lot of women take their car for him to be fixed whether there is anything wrong with it or not.
I never thought in my 65 years on earth that Iβd see such bollocks in the world of automotive engineering. Who ever thought of immersion of rubber in hot oil under stress needs their balls boiled in sulphuric acid.
It's absolutely vital to change oil regularly with these wet belts. I'm not defending the design by any means, but it stands to reason that if you run it through filthy oil your chances of problems are higher.
Ford need to be held to account for this
If ford want to make use such a vulnerable component they could at least do it in non interference engines. I won't be buying a new Ford anytime soon.
Im surprised it even did 40,000 being driven by a bell end ragging it everywhere
