The craziest thing that happened to me with undercover police: It was about 11:30 am on a school day and we came out of school to go to the cafeteria (we share one with a school that is a 3 minute walk away). Suddenly we started hearing sirens but we didn‘t see where they were coming from. Right when we wanted to cross the street, a car was speeding across the street and parked at the side of the street. The man that sat in it left the car and sprinted right in the direction where we had to go. A few seconds later, the undercover cops with a detachable siren on the roof followed where the car went and a women jumped out while the man parked the car. The undercover police officer sprinted across the street with a half visible gun in her hoodie and a few students followed them to see what would happen. They ran to a different street with male officer who parked the car following too. When other students and our french teacher came a few minutes later, we told them what just happened, everyone was shocked. Turns out, the man was a robber who broke into peoples homes and stole things. I think they found multiple TVs and PCs in the car and the police then caught him. Nobody was hurt. That was the craziest school day I ever had!
