As far as the blue pikachu one goes I'd try swapping the expansion pak and if that doesn't work the rdram since I noticed in the last successful boot there was video artifacting in addition to the freeze. You might also want to take a closer look at the RCP and make sure the pins are clean and still soldered since a poorly connected or bad RCP could also explain the artifacting, freezing, and no-controller. I'd probably also swap in the original PIF since it regressed when you replaced it.
Buddy, I love your videos but you NEED to test audio as well. And probably all controller ports. These might not be "fully working" as you assumed.
It didn’t seem like you were checking audio. Many broken N64 consoles, especially late-model Pikachu consoles, are missing one or both audio channels.
The game on the Gold N64 froze on 24:26? did the audio work on all of them as well?
I'd check the surface mount capacitors on that blue Pokemon one, those SMD caps from that era were a plague

On the blue Pokemon console, I don't recall hearing if you tested capacitors or not. I would definitely be checking capacitors.
That board can probably use a cap kit, many I’ve gotten that didn’t show on screen that usually the issue

You should find a broken Nintendo 64 DD and make a video on that. Even though I doubt it since those are hundreds of dollars for one.
Watching that iconic opening sequence of Ocarina of Time has me even more eager for the Switch 2 release later this year. How good was the N64? 30 years old and so many of them still going strong. I know there were nearly 33 million of them made, but it's still impressive. I wonder how many of the 150 million Switch consoles will still be working in 2046?
It's definitely the CPU that's broken, I would say it's the GPU due to the glitches on screen, but the fact that the controller also does not work, it has to be the CPU. The black screen after replacement may just be because of slightly different chip manufacturing, considering it's a rare edition and it came 4 years later.
The blue pokemon one may not work because the PIF chip (the one that manages controllers) also manages CIC functions of games. Replacing it with the wrong model will cause issues with games not starting. I'd be more inclined to think bad power from old caps or bad solder joint on CPU or GPU or even Ram causing the problem. I'd put the original PIF chip back, ultrasonic the board and reflow pins on the CPU and GPU
For the blue Pikachu version there is corrosion on the 9 via's in a square to the bottom right of the central black chip in the direction of 160 silk screen text also its not as easy to remove but it might be worth checking under the expansion slot for corrosion. For the orange Pikachu version you didn't need to change the black guide plastic, could've just put the game in the bare card slot 😂 If you wanna make the most money why not just put the cleanest non-special edition board into the special edition shell?

9:15 did you ever fix the reset button issue on the purple one? You addressed it at the beginning but there's no footage of you doing anything to it or mentioning it again after that. Maybe it's an issue for Rob since it has to do with a case button sticking.
17:30 It looks that n64 was either stored in a shed or an attic with little to no climate control.. My guess would be it came area with high humidity and well that just ate away at the metal over the years.
