50 years later, it still looks like a spaceship
The interior on that is superb 👏🏻
When the 928 came out it looked massive. Now its dainty.
How the hell did the 992 win the Sonderwunsch class! With all the 930's to chose from
Having owned a 1988 928 S4 manual for the last 30 years, I could not help grinning as you reviewed the car. I have put 120K miles on mine, driven it in all weather conditions and it I could not have asked for a better car than this. The are truly underrated by the Porsche community at large, so it's wonderful to see such a review as your Harry. Looking forward to hearing more about your experiences.
Harry is putting out more films than Disney
The 928 looked futuristic when it came out, and still looks futuristic now. Very sweet car.
Love that Harry isn't afraid to admit the automatic actually suits this car better. Sometimes the obvious choice isn't the right one.
Love the 928, still looks amazing! She's a keeper.
The 928 video at last 🤩 Happy Sunday Everyone 👋
Ever since watching the film Weird Science as a kid I've wanted a 928. I think the time is now, thanks Harry.
Harry, you have two really great Porsches—congratulations. And for me, the best thing about your cars is that you actually drive them, rather than just letting them sit in a garage. ✅️
I’d have one over a 911 any day of the week.
Spot on Harry. Keep it in 3 and the box is much more reactive. I only use D on the motorway or sitting over 70mph. The snick into 2nd helps with the traffic light grandprix A trip to Center Gravity will really sharpen up the handling. People think they are ponderous but they really aren't. As you say, they really handle well. That Weissach rear axle was way ahead of its time Get Paul A to fit a Ritech clamp so you have no thrust bearing worries I also have the Blaupunkt. I dropped a small sub inside the spare wheel - the bass units behind the seats are a bit anaemic I daily mine. Bike in the back or tip run! Done two trips to Normandy in last year in mine and did not miss a beat. Draws lots of really positive attention, everyone seems to love a 928 And Get an X pipe fitted, sounds epic. Enjoy, so glad you are championing a really really under appreciated and overlooked and amazing car
The 928 has never been forgotten by me and that brown and wild trim is such a glorious go to 70s colour palette (although its an 80s model).
The interior is exceptional, what a gem ❤
I own a 1985 928s with an auto. Owned it since new. It’s such an amazing car. The quintessential grand tourer. Yours looks fantastic. Enjoy it. And be sure to drive it…..it needs the love!
Got to love that interior!
Why did that 992 Turbo win? I don’t get it.
Mercedes - Benz W4A Series automatic transmission is a great unit.
