Look up Cerakote, they do a product called MC-5100 which creates a hard outer coating on polished ally. The only drawback however is that it tends to leave a surface texture so you would probably wanna finish it up with a PPF to help smoothen out any imperfections.

Hey Mark! The ultimate cheat code for the 'Shiny Spoon' is Cerakote Clear Aluminum MC-5100. You can spray it directly over the mirror polish with zero sanding (just a wash with Dawn dish soap). It chemically bonds to the bare metal, prevents 100% of the oxidation, is completely UV stable so it won't yellow, and keeps the true raw aluminum look. It's what the pros use to permanently seal polished alloys. (I'm a chem student and before painting all the car with this i think that you might try on a sample piece and putting it through a lot of harsh tests and different eviroments) Hope you found this useful, have a great day!
