A lean mean killing machine

To be fair, pelicans are opportunistic hunters, so if they did get to the falcon chicks they would try to eat them if hungry. Her warding them off makes sense. (If you possibly dont know what Im talking about, Check out the video from BBC earth "pelicans feast on cape gannet chicks")
