Halo Studios has delivered accomplished work here and while all versions are worthy of your purchasing power, it's PS5 Pro that addresses most of the lingering issues. The over usage of chromatic aberration is atrocious! And the fact you cant turn off chromatic aberration, vignette or filmgrain is mind boggling..
The film grain and chromatic aberration completely destroys image quality on PS5 pro. Insane that those are not toggleable on console
I really really hate chromatic aberration. That should always be a toggle-able option.
Thank God that on PC you can modify an .ini file to disable chromatic aberration and film grain.
This game desparately needs a toggle for film grain and chromatic abberation. The chromatic abberation especially is so thick it blurs the image pretty heavily. I loved the remake though. Was an absolute blast to play through. I’ve played the original probably hundreds of times over the years and the overall experience held up a lot better than I expected.
It is very impressive that is now all hardware based and not needing software lumen. Unreal Engine 5 finally has made strides to run and look better
Very impressed with Series S. Such an amazing, but often underutilized machine.
The chromatic aberration is soooo annoying
Game looks great but the amount of film grain is driving me mad. It accentuates the lumen fizzle so much. A setting to disable it would be nice.
UE lightning still suffers from boiling and ghosting I see
I'm sad that Quality 40fps didn't become a standard.
Man I love my PS5 slim. I know it ain't no Pro but still really impressive imo. This game looks amazing on this machine.
I've never played a game with such heavy use of film grain and chromatic abbaration. It blows my mind that these effects can't be turned off in the options menu. They completely ruin the look of the game.
UE5 is finally where it always wanted to be. Hardware lumen and 60 fps even on Series S with acceptable resolutions! With that tech, this generation has got enough steam to remain the main platform for a few more years to come!
30fps quality mode for a shooter in this day and age, Jesus
This game has some of the nicest camera and per object motion blur I've seen. Very cinematic when it all kicks off.
Let us turn off chromatic aberration and filmgrain. It destroys the graphics compleatly, I almost can't look at it.
It’ll be great to get a 40FPS option for 120hz screens
The game can look really good, but image quality is terrible due to chromatic aberration and film grain. Devs should put a toggle for these settings.
When there's a lot on screen, enemies animate at a lower fps. It's not as bad as Halo 5, but it's still very noticeable.
