He’s also the guy who thought Forerunners were aliens who hated humans, even though Contact Harvest by Joseph Staten and the main story of Halo 3 outright said humans are Forerunners and this is what the Prophets started their war of extermination to cover up. Also, various Bungie employees came out and said in their universe Forerunners were humans, and that 343 retconned it.
