Ive had a prusa XL for years, and the multi color is nice but the game changer is support interface. I'll be outfitting my farm with indx for sure
I definitely think Prusa has its strengths. Their customer support is among the best in the 3D printing industry, in my opinion, and I also really appreciate that they are committed to open source. That said, I still see room for improvement. Considering the price of their machines, both print quality and reliability could be better. VFAs (Vertical Fine Artifacts) are still an issue with Prusa from my experience, and some other manufacturers already deliver better results in these areas. In the end, every manufacturer has its own strengths and weaknesses. If Prusa can bring their reliability and print quality up to the level of the strongest competitors, I would switch to Prusa instantly.
Soluble support for geometries that would otherwise be impossible is a huge deal, and it's great to see it appear outside of professional machines
This is great, and I sincerely hope Prusa continues producing excellent 3D printers with fully open-source hardware and software, despite the powerful forces particularly in the US that want mandatory restrictions and surveillance software installed in 3D printers. Please get involved in the fight against mass surveillance and help preserve our freedom!

I think i'll wait on the Prusa version. Some incredibly strange design choices in this kit like driving screws directly into plastic and the ridiculously finicky nozzle calibration. Have gone from MK4 --> MK4S --> Core One, and now definitely going to upgrade to this. Hopefully better than the MMU3 though, could never get that working reliably
I noticed at 3:22 exactly as you said "without risking any damage", the camera pans over the induction coil, which appears to have a broken wire. The fact they didn't encapsulate the coil in resin seems to make it vulnerable.

Snapmaker U1 has 4 toolheads, runs open source OS and its slicer is just orca slicer fork, no proprietary cloud slopware. It costs 850 euro on sale, good luck beating that
