Prices are really getting out of hand. I guess the next generation will be playing outside.
Weird times, instead that my PC is decreasing in worth over time it's increasing.
My wife thought I was crazy, but it turns out that standing in the cold outside Microcenter on March 6th 2025 to get a $599.99 9070XT was a good idea.
Pure unadulterated rampant greed at this point - the AI crash can't come soon enough
Unfathomable. Consumer GPUs reaching used car prices? It was a far fetched joke many years ago. Corporate greed has certainly reached new records.
Just wait until the Rx 9050 4GB. That one's gonna be a BANGER!😂😂😂
€2600 for a freakin' gaming-GPU was already quite insane. €4000 less than a year later is "let's get you back to your padded cell" kind of territory.
Imagine saving up $350 for a 9060xt 16gb only for prices to trend up so it will only get you the 8gb version now. Feels bad man.
Data in this video was gathered late last week so prices have started to climb since then, like we mentioned in the recent Q&A. Also, the data for the B570 in November is incorrect (copy/paste issue) so please disregard it
$4,000 for a 5090? At this point, it's definitely an Al workstation card masquerading as a gaming GPU. Sad to see how far out of reach the top end has moved
Still rocking my RTX 3090. Doing a fresh repaste, with new thermal pads and fans today.
Thanks for adding data from Poland!🇵🇱 Keep it up!👍👍
GPU prices just jumped another 10-20% in the past 24 hours in australia
I’ve accepted a long time ago that I won’t be buying new graphics cards. Used hardware is where it’s at.
Tim, GPUs were overpriced to begin with since like 2019 or whatever. The fact that they somehow didn't go up further is not much of a consolation.
Should have bought that 4080 Super all that time ago.
idk where we getting these prices for July 2026 For example, €580 for a 5070 in Germany (which is pretty much shared across all the Eurozone) is unheard of; you can't find one below €670 on any major retailer. Same for €880 for the 5070ti which in reality you can't find below €950 (and most are well above 1k), the €235 for a B580 which actually goes for more than €320 and so on. And these are prices that have been up there for months, not just the past couple of days. There might have been some random one-off discounts here and there, but those are not indicative of the current market state.
Please don't die GPU... please
The biggest problem is that there are no legitimate alternatives. Console are an even worse deal right now and very soon will basically have no reason to buy one whatsoever. Honestly, the entire technology market is going to be very screwed if something doesn't resolve very soon...
Yes. We are in the suck era of computer gaming.
