The maximun volume of the whole Universeis known as the micowave back ground field. From the last visable light of a single Galaxy. Is one eight the distance from that Microwave field. Pitch black emty space. A vacume so perfect that a bit before the microwave field. Matter runs near nothing and is unnavigable. Unless you have atmosphere to manipulate, besides the engines, used for force in space. A ship will get stuck and have. We have had to, rescued them. The field inverts in a sphear. The microwave field its self, is navigable wave lenghths. The eighth of Galaxies by volume and not number. Are inhabited by People, at the thee o'clock position.
