I'm really sorry to say this, but I would strongly advise you to move out of the apartment as soon as possible. The POP ceiling is becoming weak and unstable, and there's a risk that it could collapse and seriously injure someone. Your safety should come first, so please try to make arrangements to relocate as soon as you can.
Please take the developer, the owner, and the leasing agency to court and recoup what you have spent plus added pain and suffering. This is just ridiculous. You DO NOT want to breathe in mold, and black mold is dangerous.

The best time to look for a house is the rainy season. It tells you a lot about the house and the area. Also talk to neighbors,they will help with everything about the place. I pray you find a way better place that befits a preety Lady like you.❤

The mold is seriously the last straw. You are in danger. Mold is a silent killer. I am sorry you are experiencing this

Cheneye, take this as a life experience and get out of that place. When you’re moving to a new place, check your neighbors, the neighborhood, school, how far to food and like services, water, etc. How do you change roof of a building that you do not own, is that how it works in Nigeria? Get out of this place, go home to Mom.

The mold is because of the wet in the house, so the entire house to be fumigated and the house kept dried, mold is very dangerous.
This is why we don't pay rent yearly in Kenya.Monthly,if things go wrong you move out as quickly as possible.
Buying a house is just like throwing your money inside gutter What you're experiencing now is what you will get when you buy a house,the best thing to do is to build your own house to your taste and quality of materials,so buying of a house is this Lagos shouldn't be on your mind even if you have the budget
That developer is beyond wicked

All the money you've paid in rent, and the landlord is still allowing these unsafe conditions? I would seriously consider speaking with an attorney. An electrical connection located near a water pipe is a major safety hazard. If you're feeling an electrical shock through the floor, it could indicate that the wiring isn't properly grounded or that there's a dangerous electrical fault. This needs to be addressed immediately before someone is seriously injured.
