When are we going to realize that these companies would absolutely fail if we didn’t acquiesce to their ridiculous demands. *We* have the power to stop them in their tracks if we could just get organized and say, “Enough!”

Ultra-wealthy nowadays don't ever need to interact with normal people, that's why they don't give a shit, they can hide in their fortress, fly their private Jet, hang in the Superyacht and never need to see the source of their wealth ever.

No. Uber is a Taxi company. It just avoids regulation by saying they're not.
It is because labour costs are easily quantifiable. These big corporations are obsessive about everything they can measure, at the expense of everything they can't But, fundamentally, that culture is driven by pathological greed at the top. They are run by people who have a mental disorder, an obsession with money.

Look up Dodge v. Ford Motor Company. Henry Ford was sued for paying his workers double. Even if Bezos wanted to pay his workers well, he can't, by law.

I'd imagine that a very, very significant proportion of their costs is actually labour. What else would it be? Cardboard?
