I just wanted to share some perspective. I know (and fully understand why) you guys dunk on the 17e a lot but as someone that sells phones in Australia, the E range is SUPER strong. We sell a very healthy amount due to the $400AUD price gap between the 17e and iPhone 17. So while I know it maybe doesnt make sense in the US where carrier is king, in other markets where outright is more common its a very strong candidate

I think, like cars, leasing tends to be less about financing the product for those that can't afford it outright (there are other finance options for that) and more about providing for those that want regular device upgrades when new tech comes out and are willing to pay a fixed monthly fee for that convenience.
