Years ago, around 2008, a guy I did business with in Texas was getting a divorce and had to liquidate a lot of assets. He had an early Countach and offered it to me for $80k. At the time good ones were going for around $150k, his was good but had been sitting for years and needed a refresh but nothing serious. My mechanic at the time talked me out of it because he said there was no financial upside to it. Today that car is worth like $600k at least.
