Isn't Bambu Lab the anti-consumer brand suing small open source developers? Just know that if you use their printers you'll be locked into their systems and your printer will be bricked when they inevitably place a price on their software that you're not willing to pay.

Seth you could try using a material called TPU Air, Its a TPU filament thats really soft, it could be very good for the tread and then you could just put more mass of TPU air underneath the tread which could be a bit more similar to an actual tire, and you could use it to make some bigger cornering knobs.

If you were out that day and saw those tires, now you know what we were doing 😂. Thanks, Bambu Lab for supporting this project. I've been using their H2D every day for a year now, but Bambu Lab makes 3D printers for every budget. Even this printer /4fkhlk9 could print everything in the video if done in smaller segments.

The airless tire would be a great thing for us casual riders who do not want to maintain a tubeless system, do not ride regularly, and do not want to ride with pumps, patch kits and gauges. The weight is not a thing when everything else is considered. The idea of being able to pull the bike out and never dealing with pumps and gauges is dreamy. Would they dry rot? Could the tires be tuned to change the sound maybe?! I love this concept and I think the benefits are underestimated and overlooked. As always, Great video Seth.

Seth you seem like someone who really cares about companies that do right by their customers. You really should do a little bit of looking into the controversy around Bambu Lab and how they are abusing open source AND locking their customers into an ecosystem unnecessarily purely for profit. I'm disappointed that you've accepted their sponsorship and promote their products and brand.

Please don't take money to advertise bamboo, plenty of other printer companies that are not scummy out there

We are all used to pneumatics tyres nowadays, so take them for granted. However pneumatics tyres are insanely efficient in so many ways. Rolling resistance, vibration dampening, cost, etc. It's because they are just so good that it's hard to make a comparable airless product.

bambu labs, Seth are you aware of their recent scandal involving them threatening an open source software developer where it turned out bambu labs were actually the ones breaking the law. Not good people.

Love this project and this channel, doesn't love bambu lab's attitude towards open source, even if they make really good products

I'm really surprised that a DIY enthusiasts is promoting Bambu Labs since they've been pushed to lock down their version of a free firmware & software base and cutting off third party API access for users to enforce dependance on their cloud
