Portugal is known for its strong textile industry, with tons of major brands manufacturing their clothes there, so I knew the shopping was going to be on point. If you want clothes or jewelry, there are plenty of places for that and if that’s not your thing, you can check out some of the tinned fish shops or ceramics stores. 📍 Lisbon, Portugal Follow for more food adventures: ShopMy: https://shopmy.us/kaitlynlavery Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/kaitlynlavery TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@kaitlyneats Substack: https://substack.com/@kaitlynlavery Beli: https://beliapp.co/lists/kaitlyneats LTK: https://www.shopltk.com/explore/Kaitlynlavery Amazon Storefront: https://www.amazon.com/shop/kaitlyneats_ #shopping #shoppingvlog #lisbon #clothes

Some of their artisanal stores literally source their clothes from india and persia but will never market them as their actual name, but will literally falsify their origin. Happened multiple times.
Most of those cheap jewelry stores are selling the same or similar stock, mostly sourced from China, India, etc and with stuff that is likely to tarnish or turn your skin green. Those street/park markets are also full of people reselling mass produced knock off Portuguese goods - you’ll see the same low quality cork bags, tile embossed journals, etc a bajillion times over for absurd prices. I’ve personally never had luck with the ‘handmade’ shoes they claim are so special. I’ve bought from multiple brands and they always end up falling to pieces, after extracting some blood from my feet in the process. There’s a few cute genuinely handmade pottery shops but you have to do some real searching ahead of hand and the prices are pretty steep. I don’t think Lisbon is even in the top 10 ten cities for boutique shopping in Europe.
The embroidered hats might make a lovely wedding favour.
Its so weird knowing you went the thrift store i always go
I'm pretty confused about the prices of those ceramic bowls. If they're handmade anywhere near Portugal, they wouldn't be priced under mb 30$ at the very least. Pottery is an expensive AND time-consuming art, saying as a person who does it myself
didn’t even know Portugal got down like that✨
Guys I don’t think she’s going to the cheap mass produced markets lol
That ring is so neat - looks like gold coins! I would've bought it too!! ✨

Best type of souvenir, you will remember Portugal when you wear each piece. 🥰
