The first thing to go on my old Lenovo were the speakers, then the hinges, then the fans. I took it apart and all 3 problems were related to how close the heatsinks and pipes were to each component. Pipe melted the plastic hinges and speaker foam. And the fan was just over worked from the constant heat. Also it was mostly gooche free. Just pure heat and heat and heat. This is why I'm very hesitant to use the turbo fan setting on my new MSi... so much fear XD
