Obligatory praise to Kris. Sreten planned these videos to make content, and bimmerworld gets promotional material - but Kris just seems to have randomly ended up in these videos and seems like an absolutely wonderful person.

Worlds greatest mechanic
It's amazing to feel the AHK system working. I guess the fact that the car is 4780mm long, makes the feeling clearer. My CSi with 94.000km went a full technical restoration it took about 6 months, as I found it sitting peacefully for more than 10 years in a warehouse. Now, driving it at 200kmh on the Autobahn makes every dude on modern AMG or M car wondering wt*. One funny thing about the car manual is that it states explicitly, Do not engage 6th gear if you are not doing 160kmh... lol

Im glad you were able to speak with Steve. I met him in 2004 when he would bring it to the BMW dealership that I worked for. The first time I saw it I thought "who painted this 850CSi" because I didnt know this color was available lol. I was so sad to see the condition this car was in when you found it. It was spotless when I would see it back then. You did an amazing job bringing this car back to life!

That driveshaft expletive-explosion was relatable AF 🤣
It's a bit silly to say, but the AHK working was only the _second_ most hype moment of the video for me (and it was one hell of a hype moment). Top moment has to go to Kris turning up with those inserts for the oil cap. Just such a cool and incredibly sweet thing to do, especially umprompted. The world is better off for having people like Kris in it.

Love seeing everyone anxiously standing around the car waiting to see if your fix worked. The car community is massive but small at the same time, if that makes sense!
