I remember way back on Hermitcraft season 4 they were talking about "waiting for the next update because hopefully there'll be concrete slabs and stairs." I can't remember who said it but I also recall a Hermit banking his hopes on them for his upcoming base. I'd love to go back and say "Don't worry. They're coming. They'll be here in eleven years."
i do wish we got terracotta stairs and slabs
6:05 You need paper to expand it. maps duplicate them
The addition of maps being found in abandoned camps really pushes the aim for exploration and adventure that Mojang has been emphasizing in their recent drops. It really feels like an adventure, getting a map that leads you to another structure with an another map that leads you to buried treasure! Edit: Also, it’s cool to see that your playing Big Walk too! I’ve been pretty hyped for this game, will definitely tune in to your stream of it
1:50 i think they're trying to avoid you being able to easily scavenge around the deep dark or ancient cities by using cushions as transportation.
5:54 Has veteran forgotten that you need papers to extend maps and not more maps?
FINALLY CONCRETE STAIRS AND SLABS Edit: HOLY- 292 LIKES I DIDNT RECIEVE THIS MUCH LIKES BEFORE
I love the push they've been making to make it more accessible to navigate the game within the game. It feels like with every update, relying on the F3 menu for information is becoming less and less necessary. The cost change to lodestones, showing your direction on maps, more maps. It's no longer strictly necessary to either stumble upon ancient cities by chance or look for a particular stat related to erosion in F3, we now can actually find maps for it.
Oh boy. I remember a time when six double chests were all the storage you'd ever need for an average playthrough. Nowadays a storage room with fewer than 20 double chests would be unthinkable, and even that isn't always enough.
Honestly, this drop appears to be World of Color 2. New wool and concrete stairs and slabs, cushions, and Poplar leave options. We only needed Terracotta slabs, stairs, and the missing Prismarine (Bricks & Dark) walls
Every time I start to feel really excited for a drop they say it's feature complete and I forget how small these drops are. Everything they added is really welcome but they leave some features and biomes feeling really underdeveloped
I have a feeling that we're getting an inventory update soon. It's strange that they added this many variation blocks to the end of a snapshot. It's like they found something in internal testing that they're happy with so they add the blocks to an earlier update that will suit it. I'm getting my hopes up for this spring.
looks like wool stairs weren't enough
You'd think they would be usable in stone cutters too, right? No one in their right mind would sacrifice 6 blocks for 4 stairs if there is a better option.
Honestly this drop seems to be World of Color 2. New Wool and Concrete stairs and slabs, Cushions, and the Poplar leave variants. We just needed Terracotta slabs and stairs, and the missing Prismarine(Bricks & Dark) walls.
maps are one of the oldest things that were never changed/updated. feels odd to have them changed.
Last one we need is terracotta stairs and slabs
Finally, i can bless my builds with the vibrant colors of concrete in its fullest glory.
Gosh I do reaaally hope we will get birds, bears, or other forest wildlife will get added in a future update! 😭😭😭
4:59 I think it's the first time I've heard X pronouncing "taiga" the correct way! 😂
