Summary: It sucks
I bought a 4TB nvme m.2 a while back and its price has quadrupled since then.
For budget builds, I’ve been using half a terabyte drives. It’s just the reality we’re in right now.
Zach, convince my parents to let me eat the GPU. It looks tasty
As a 512GB SSD owner, I agree that current SSD pricing is hell
How about an update on the new Audi S5? Please give us a tech review of your car Zach
Zach got that Texas tan already
This is absolutely insane. Last Christmas (2025) I got a 4tb Samsung 990 pro with Samsung heatsink for $400. Now that can get you a 2tb drive without heatsink.
This makes me so sad. One of the things I "cheaped" out on my build before the first Ramageddon was my M.2 drive, got a 1TB and was gonna get another preferably 2TB or higher drive to pair with it when I began running outta storage. I'm about to that point now
You should also make a video about other storage types and pros and cons in the current market
Just checked my Amazon order history. Purchased Crucial P5 Plus 2TB on April 17th 2023 for…$119.99. I hate AI companies.
If you trying to go ultra budget, could stick with an HDD and have more storage too 😅
I paid more for a 256gb nvme than I did for a 1tb nvme 3 years ago
MSI is selling a 2TB Spatium NVMe for $150. I forgot the exact model though.
me surviving over here with 256gb hdd an amd radeon TM R9 390 Series and an Intel Core 17 920
Video number 987 of asking zach to make a video how to properly cut grass
So glad I got myself new 4 TB and 2 TB drives for my rigs before the price hikes because I had a hunch the hikes were coming
Well we’ve got 2tb for $230 (160 USD) so idk what’s wrong here
What about sata ssds?
Im glad I built my am5 pc last year when i did. It wasnt but maybe 2-3 months later when everything got expensive
