NVIDIA is about to do to CPUs what it already did to GPUs. Take control of the most valuable part of the computer and force the entire industry to build around its technology. With Microsoft reshaping Windows for AI and traditional processors losing ground, the personal computer may be entering its biggest transformation in decades. This video examines NVIDIA’s new AI-focused chip architecture, its partnership with MediaTek, Microsoft’s Copilot+ hardware requirements, and the accelerating shift away from Intel’s x86 platform toward Arm-based systems. We also explore how CUDA helped NVIDIA dominate data centers and why companies such as Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Asus could increasingly become assemblers rather than true technology owners. The new generation of laptops promises powerful local AI, continuous assistants, smarter search, image generation, and software that can act across your files and applications, but that convenience comes with higher hardware demands, increased energy use, limited transparency, and growing dependence on NVIDIA and Microsoft. The CPU may not disappear completely, but it could become little more than a coordinator inside a machine where AI hardware makes the most important decisions. 00:24 - NVIDIA’s RTX Spark Revolution 01:56 - How NVIDIA Crushed Intel 03:51 - The Battle for Control of Your Laptop 05:49 - Microsoft’s Forced AI Upgrade 07:54 - The Hidden Energy Tax 09:35 - Why AI Is Replacing the CPU 10:42 - The End of the Traditional Desktop 11:45 - The New Computing Divide Narrated by: Josh Risser 🔔 Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE! 🔔 SUGGEST A TOPIC: https://bit.ly/suggest-an-infographics-video 💬 Come chat with me: https://discord.gg/theinfoshow 🔖 MY SOCIAL PAGES TikTok ► https://www.tiktok.com/@theinfographicsshow Facebook ► https://www.facebook.com/TheInfographicsShow 📝 SOURCES: https://pastebin.com/zarLuNvy All videos are based on publicly available information unless otherwise noted.

I don't need a "teammate" or an "AI assistant" to help me operate my computer. I've been managing just fine since the '90s.
Thanks for motivating me to finally move to Linux.
Real gamers know this happened years ago
The CPU cores are Mediatek. Apple did this since M1.Move to Linux, people.
LITERALLY EVERYTHING SUCKS NOW
Always liked how Josh has this upbeat cheerful voice while letting us know about the next thing to absolutely hate.
How about no.
With RAM prices halfway to the moon you're not gonna be buying a computer anytime soon.
Letting AI overlord control your computer sounds very windows to me. I will stick to Linux from now on
Don't just avoid windows laptops, avoid windows. What an absolute waste of this level of processing power
lol I immediately delete Windows and install Linux.
The best ad to uninstall Windows and install Linux 🤣🤣🤣
No wonder 11 is so sloppy. I’m on Linux with zero regrets
People are really pushing back against Microsoft. No one can afford the prices nVidia is charging for the new hardware. Frankly, I don't care what it can do. It is hard enough holding on to what I already have. Linux has my vote. Computers are for people not AI.
Let's migrate to Linux
I dislike the AI generated frames, that’s why I’m sticking to raw frames rather then Fake frames
Your AI computer can go through all your files, create a report, and then silently send all important personal data out. I sound like a Luddite, but I really am so sick of A.I.
Finally new hardware I can run Copilot on, just what I wanted
Uhh, no. Amd is still doing just fine and it's graphics integration is much more refined.
I would use old hardware before giving my entire station to AI. Linux seems to be in my future.
