I wonder how much Apple pays you to try and make us excited about a price increase and minimal improvements.
There is NO new information in this video, it’s the same video regurgitated for the second or third time.
The closer we get to the release, the less appealing the 18 Pro is becoming. All these “amazing” upgrades that have been speculated about for the last 12 months are now either nerfed or not coming at all. The C2 modem was going to be a great upgrade to help with battery performance but now it’s still going to use a Qualcomm chip for mmWave so the gains will be lesser than what they could have been. The telephoto lens was rumored to get a decent upgrade this year, no longer happening, the chip upgrade, while an improvement since it’ll be 2nm, isn’t anything super special but will be an improvement. Slightly larger battery, always welcome. And the Dynamic Island shrinking a little. All of this for $200-$300 more than the 17 Pro series. My wife is getting an upgrade this year and I’ve been waiting to get her the 18 Pro Max, but the more I hear about it, the more I’m thinking to just get her a 17 Pro Max instead.

Apple is making the same mistakes post Steve Jobs that they made in the 90s before he came back. Too many models too much confusion.
These are all minor incremental changes. Not insane. Not one thing is insane about this. The one thing I would have liked, better telephoto, isn't getting an upgrade.
