Really doesn’t look too bad 👌 I would t have expected the cost to be that high considering it’s rattle cans. But frankly doing the work yourselves really does save money either way, you would’ve probably paid that much just for prep at a regular paint shop.
2k has really been a game changer for DIY
As a former prepper in a collision repair shop, I would highly recommend getting a soft backing pad for your sander. They cost between 5 and 20 bucks and allow the sander to conform to the body lines and angles better than just the standard hard disc. It makes for an overall better and smoother finish. That turned out pretty damn good for an at-home rattle-can spray job, good job!

Tractor supply, Rust-Oleum tractor paint, xylene as a reducer, and enamel hardener, I painted my beetle for like $120 and I didn't even use a full gallon

When using spray paint do a couple more layers, and wet sand the color and the clear as well. Then cut and buff it after and you'll never be able to tell that it's spray Paint. If you do the proper prep work and masking and do all the sanding I just meantioned you can get a very professional looking paint job. Even show quality if you take the time. You're really only limited in the colors that you can do it with. But you can get a lot more spray paint colors than you would think if you order them. Just anything that's partially transparent is going to be really hard to not get tiger stripes with rattle can. I've done plenty of really good rattle can paint jobs, like I said you can't tell the difference. But if I want a fancy color I use a harbor freight paint gun. It's way easier to get even coats, which is key if it's anything even a little transparent. Since you can't just sand it to even it out. But I even use spray paint as a base coat for pearls and candy's or even color shift. You just have to color sand it. Which I would do if I was spraying it out of a gun anyway cause it'll look awful if there's any uneven spots or orange peel on your base coat. And no matter what you'll always have some amount of orange peel when you're painting.
That's awesome. I tried a rattle can for clear and it works for small projects like door handles and side mirrors. But larger areas, it starts to show some inadequacies. If you have a compressor, a harbor freight $100-120 gun is fairly good (24psi at the gun) for what it is... and lays down 2k clear like a ninja. Perfect layering for an easy set up, cut and buff. Good job though for rattle cans. I saw 1 day and that is a tough deadline to meet.

You should really invest into a decent compressor, moisture removal and sprayer. It would be easier to get better results and while there will be more cleanup, it should cost you significantly less than buying a whole bunch of paint and smaller cans.

In the south of Italy if you prep the car, you can have it full painted by a professional in a body shop for 700€ which is not much more of what you have spent. I do not know the price in the us but here you can easily buy a compressor and a paint gun for less than 200€ and adding more or less 100€ in scuff pads, primer, paint, filter and everything else you need to paint you would spend less than buying spray can that costs 10/15€ (based on the color) a pieces for 2k and 8€ a piece for the primer one
