I almost drove head on into a guard rail because of a bmw that has LED headlights, I swerved at the last second and didn’t hit it. The best part is that there was a cop following me and when I looked in my rear view mirror all I saw was him shaking his head and giving me a thumbs up as to say “you’re all good, I got blinded too”😂

This is why I think there should be limits to how bright your headlights should be and if you should turn them on in certain places. If you have headlights brighter than the sun, you can temporarily blind someone, causing people to swerve off the road Edit: I know there are limits in some places and people are ignoring them.

What a nice recovery. That save was clutch. Thank goodness they didn’t rollover.

These insanely bright lights need to go!! It is ridiculously unnecessary and insanely dangerous!! I see people with their brights on at 3pm. Unfortunately people are so stupid now that I think they don’t even know how to switch them off.

Not once have I heard of cops pulling a vehicle over for having headlights that are too bright. Yet somehow I always hear people getting tickets for tinted windows… And before anyone says that people get pulled over for high beams, the reality is that a lot of these LED bulbs are not high beams.

this is why improperly adjusted headlights and using high beams on incoming traffic should be illegal, just yesterday i had a lifted tacoma come up behind me on residental streets while i was doing the speed limit of 25 but he started tailgating me and flicked on his high beams, so i slowed to 10mph cause i literally couldnt see anything with his headlights blinding me, he also couldnt pass cause there was oncomming traffic so he was just stuck behind me lmao
