Your phones do the same. I was talking about the most random stuff last week with a coworker and I open YouTube when I get home and it recommends a video on that exact thing. Its always listening and its connected through your accounts so it knows everything about you

about 8 years ago we had an alexa in every room. Now we have 5 unplugged alexas in a box, outside in the shed. There was no noise like this, but there was an unordered package delivered, that my wife and I were talking about ordering.
They are spying on people and using the information against you.
