Good news, Bugatti Chiron tires are only about $1,300 to $2,000 now per tire, so a full set is about 7-8 Grand. That’s VERY impressive.

No tyre manufacturer said it was impossible, they just said it is not financially worth developing. Including Michelin. But VAG wont renew their tyre supply contract with Michelin if the refused to make it. So here we are.

The change probably had more to do with the fact that the Veyron was only a few cars to ever use the Michelin PAX run flat system. The PAX system was a complete commercial failure because of the mounting requirements so it wasn’t used on the Chiron. PAX was also used on a couple model years of top trim Honda Odyssey which is why every single one of those on the road today has aftermarket wheels.

The scam got exposed when other brands started making cars faster than it with "normal" tires.

No one will drive fast enough for those tires to degrade that bad, not even in the autobahn

The amount of hyper car brands that has just burst onto the scene is crazy. I’m like seeing a new hyper car brand every month now. Gonna need multiple poster calendars for the same year now to fit them all in 😂.

Most impressive tire I saw was a BF Goodrich space shuttle tire. Worn right down to the canvas and cords, one landing.

If you can afford that car, I have really hard time feeling bad for you. 😂
