An abandoned Kimberley track not driven in 30 years — Shaun and Graham are about to find out why. This is Part 3, the finale of the Kimberley series, and the boys are pushing into country nobody's touched in three decades. The mission: cut through dense bush and overgrown tracks to open up a new camp on the Berkeley River — a stretch of water no 4WD has ever camped on. What was once a track is now bush, and getting through means fighting for every kilometre. This is the end of the road for the Kimberley series, and the crew are throwing everything at it to finish the trip on the Berkeley. Be sure to check out Part 1 and Part 2 for all the action. 👇 Drop it below to be in to win one of five Ultimate9 evcX: 📍 Whats your dream 4WD & Camping location: ____ Chapters: 00:00 Intro 01:04 Limping cars into camp 02:48 Mission to Kalumburu 04:33 Sooty repairs begin 07:12 Crossing the Drysdale at night 08:43 Fixing Sooty 10:05 Adventure to the Berkeley begins 12:05 Track wash out 14:13 Overgrown hill climb 18:46 Abandoned mining operation 21:43 Deep river crossing 27:14 Pushing to camp 29:12 Cooking scene 33:34 Ultimate 9 Giveaway 34:33 Camp morning 37:48 Day 17 in the bush 40:32 Losing the track 42:37 The track gets more overgrown 46:57 Re joining the Oombi 48:09 Huge bog hole 52:55 30km to the Berkeley 53:22 Breakfast 54:32 The last day in the Kimberley 56:09 Steep exit on muddy creek 01:02:03 Valley into the Berkeley 01:03:45 Pushing in a new track 01:06:31 Our Berkeley camp 🚗Our Crew: Tim from MITS Alloy Trays & Canopies: https://www.mitsalloy.com.au Tony from GME UHF/Comms: https://www.gme.net.au Tim from STEDI Lighting: https://www.stedi.com.au Pete from Ultimate 9: https://www.ultimate9.co Birchy from Birchy's Fishing Tours: https://birchysfishingtours.com.au 🔧 Our Gear: Mazda BT-50: https://www.mazda.com.au/cars/new-bt-50/ Scrub King: https://www.scrubking.com.au Fulcrum Suspension: https://fulcrumsuspensions.com.au Clearview Towing Accessories: https://www.clearviewaccessories.com.au/ Cooper Tires: https://coopertires.com.au Darche Camping Gear: https://darche.com.au Dometic Fridges: https://www.dometic.com/en-au/outdoor XXXX: https://www.xxxx.com.au RUNVA Winches: https://www.runvawinch.com.au On Track Meals: https://ontrackmeals.com/ Brown Davis: https://www.browndavis.com.au/ Repco: https://www.repco.com.au REDARC 12v & Solar: https://www.redarcelectronics.com/au CSA Wheels: https://csawheels.com.au Offroad Animal: https://offroadanimal.com.au/ X-Bar by Hayman Reese: https://x-bar.com.au/ Raptor Coatings: https://raptorcoatings.com/au/ Survival First Aid Kits: https://survivalfirstaidkits.net.au/ Pinnacle 4X4: https://www.pinnacle4x4.com.au/ 📱 Follow us: Instagram @4wd247 Facebook @4wd247 TikTok @4wd247 Shaun, Graham Cahill, Jock & Jesse — formerly with 4WD Action — have been delivering Australia's best off-road content for 20+ years. Amazing video guys! My favorite trail here in Croatia was abandoned more than 40 years ago and part of it runs through a narrow canyon and through a creek. Water constantly brings down branches and fallen trees, so there’s often a lot of work to do just to get through. But honestly, that’s what makes offroading special to me, dealing with obstacles, finding a way around them, and clearing the trail yourself. This trail feels alive. It’s never the same twice. ❤️ Greetings from Croatia!
Remarkable diff repair from that old wreck. !!
Must be big fans, background of the replacement diff B-roll "SOOOTY" on the window.
Over the last 2 years I've been saving up to purchase and build my ultimate tour vehicle. I finally got my Hilux 2.8 Gd-6 and I'm planning to do a trip I've never done in my life. Planning to do a 2 week trip though the entire country of Namibia. Slowly but surely getting all the gear together. You guys are a big inspiration. Truly awesome. Cheers!
I reckon camping in Shauno’s backyard with his cooking and yarns would be a dream location.
I picked up my dream 4WD a few months ago. A Y62 Patrol ❤ now I want to take it to Lucky Bay and see all the beauty of South WA
If my 4WD was packed and ready to go tonight, I’d head straight for the Victorian High Country. There’s nothing better than winding through mountain tracks, setting up camp beside a quiet river, and ending the day around a campfire under a sky full of stars. For me, camping is about escaping the noise of everyday life, enjoying nature, and making unforgettable memories with family and friends.
Listen guys, you have THE BEST show out there.
Kimberley patrol and I spent nearly 12 months in swag.
Let have a cup of coffee and enjoy the expedition. 🎉🎉🎉
Do like these one hour long episodes? Keep up the good work guys?
