After buying the cheapest Suzuki Jimny we could find off marketplace, we set out to build an epic little 4X4. Little did we know that the build would come to a grinding halt after buying a "fully tested" engine off the internet... Man I was so hyped to see another jimny video but it's the same build from 5 years ago ...
Greatest 4x4 channel returns
The wrecker who sold you the first 1.5 engine definitely deserves a community service warning to protect the rest of us who don't have Youtube channels with almost 4 MILLION subscribers. "Tested and guaranteed" my arse! That's a paddlin'. It's time for some namin' & shamin'!
I feel like this is dejavu
I’m only 1 minute in and chuckling at how deep in the “bush” you guys are as a cyclist pedals by in the background lol
Ive really missed full series builds in 1 vid. Thanks mates stay great legends
need to tell us the ebay wrecker seller, so we don't make the same mistake of buying from that scammy seller!
PRO TIP: I’m currently watching this and I’m at the snorkel bit, Things like differentials have breather vents, and it does indeed help to add a hose like an old air line hose to raise these points up like the snorkel! 🤿
Re-watching this because of the shenanigans with the wrecker engine, where they told the guys to put oil down the bores.
It's a good idea to pull the head(s) before you install a used engine. If everything looks good, all it costs you is a head gasket, if it's worn out or otherwise munted you can deal with it before you go to the trouble of installing it.
I remember the name and location of wreckers that stooged you too. 😂😂
oh its just all the vids combined. i was hoping it was a new one : (
I’m a newby with this channel… so I had no idea this was old. My only reaction was- holy crap these guys pump out the projects.
The sketchy wreckers get their due twice. Ooof!
always keep a roll of tp in your 4x4 your welcome champs
Hey guys howdy from USA
Revisiting the birth of the worlds best 4WD channel was a blast. Cars truly are the best way to experience the great Australian outdoors, safely tucked away from all the many many many venomous critters.
Put the 1.3 back in and BOOOOOOOOOOOST!
When I pulled the motor out of my rusty donor 88 Mustang GT to go in my 1986 Mustang coupe, I found a fully rebuilt .040 over engine with forged pistons in it. It smoked because of tired valve stem seals so, I chucked a junkyard used set of Twisted Wedge heads from the year 2000 on there. Now it's great. So I got lucky with my junkyard picks.
Missed scaring the cyclist by 48seconds.😆
