Scrapman uploading these Chapter 2 gameplays every day is a wonderful sight to see... Like I said, a Scrapman video a day keeps the haybots away (except Hank, we really need Hank again!)
Protip: the compass at the top shows where the enemies are during a raid
Lorenzo: It shot missiles at me!! Scrapman: *PTSD intensifies*
Scrapman: *Adds a walkway on his farm for safety.* Farmbot: *Uses the walkway on his farm for safety.*
Farmbots and plunger bots target player instead of farm if the player is close by, so you should build a standing platform next to your farm rather then on top. Drop pods can spawn on water as long as there is a platform (even underwater).
9:45 seeing scrapman place his lift when his car is on it made me so stressed
It looks like the plants that got destroyed left their fertilizer behind.
So, the composition of a raid is kinda random. Each crop has a cost when planted. That cost determines the Budget of the raid and the raid level. Each raid level has a weighted list of bots that can be sent, the cost of the group is deducted from the Budget and it keeps adding groups till the budget is spent.
Waited like a dog for this
you can plant potatoes by shooting potatoes from spudgun into the soil. I discovered it by accident
I think pausing between pushing the sawblades out like a windshield wiper will keep them from standing and whacking at the blades
It takes the haybots and totebots a second to realize that they need to start moving again, if you slow down the pistons then they will start to move toward them and then get hit as it goes out again. I have mine on a 2 second delay and that works pretty well with just a 7 distance.
Hey ScrapMan the plasma drill can turn trees into ember
I will say you should relog after each raid. they changed the durability system, used to be that durability was a chance system and higher levels meant better chance the block/item wasn't destroyed. now durability is just on an HP system, but when you leave and rejoin it resets the hp for every block. so back to back raids actually are more dangerous for farms.
0:50 I'm going to go ahead and guess it's most likely the water physics. The tires are probably interacting with the waves through the block somehow
26:08 I would make a roof over it and put sawbaldes spinning at the top to get rid of the jumping guys
4:15 he gets skipped like a rock 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Hey scrap man Incase you didn't know buildings usually have roofs so i think that might help with the jump totes.
1. You don't wanna stand on your farm during the raids (jumpers and farm bots) 2. Big flat platforms you build will become viable drop spots (so add little pillars or something so that its not big open flat spot) 3. A couple towers around the farm with seats is good (can go between towers to avoid farm bot chemicals) 4, Yea... take the attention of the farm bots and jumpers while making sure there aren't any explosive bots left, then shoot the ones that shoot you and the jumpers and the farmbots
If you set your sawblade pushers to go out an extra two blocks every other movement it should help with the bots who stay just out of range and attack them.
