Yea, but you didn't fix the problem, just a temp fix while your driving on faulty equipment. Prolonging it bc you think its fixed bc the brakes are back to normal and the light is out will cost you 10 fold. Extreme heat seizes to the axle and knuckle, and a tow.All those steel shavings didn't show up out of nowhere. Only fruit flies do that. Those shavings are from wheel bearing failure. By this time you should be able to hear it, especially on slight turns switching the load side to side. Turn the radio down. Clean of the sensor then order some new hubs, they even come with a new vss.

Before doing any maintenance as a beginner, it would be wise to find a good repair manual, and if possible, a trustworthy acquaintance with knowledge and experience. Just do a throttle body cleaning and a in a fuel injection cleaning
For the record, the gas body MUST be cleaned, not just u should clean the body but u must deep clean its hole seat simultaneously!
What caused the shavings to be there? That is what you should be diagnosing everything downline is the result but you never found out the cause
