This is actually a pretty big issue with wild fire prevention. whilst wild fires are extremely dangerous, putting them out doesn't fix anything, it actually makes it worse long-term. Wild fires burn everything that can be burned, leaving only things that *can't* be burned, but if you put out wild-fires, all the burnables pile up over time, meaning when a wild-fires happens they're bigger and a lot more dangerous. Not to mention wild fires leave room for new life to sprout in its place.
