They were trying to scam the manufacturer (KIA) into paying for warranty work for a blown engine. This happens a lot in all stealerships.

There is NO LEGITIMATE REASON for an engine to be removed for a cosmetic paint job. This is why I take the day off and just sit at the dealership and watch from afar, you cannot trust anyone 100%.
