One big reason why the 'content' quantity has dropped is relative to the quality and depth of the project. You used to do "will it run" and small jobs... recently, the projects are massive. Not a day or two, more like a couple weeks.. impossible to expect a video every week like normal. Kudos to you for making this type work entertaining. Who would have thought thought that greasy heavy duty wrenching would be this popular? 😅 Keep grinding, bud. You're doing great.
42:02 Don't worry about it Matt things take time to complete. We are just happy to have a video once a week or every other week. Me personally I appreciate the quality over quantity.
Engineer of 43 years here, and yes, have punched bearing housings many times. Most customers, especially farmers, don't want to pay for a proper fix so we do the best we can.
Called in “sick” today, sitting on the couch with a coffee, this vid could not have came at a better time
Kim seems extremely competent in her work. It must be a relief to have help you can trust.
Kim went hard on that front end the headlights look excellent
Use Aluminum Foil to cover your hydraulic hoses before painting. learned that from Rusted Rides.
Using a center punch is called, "Peening" the material to make the bearing race fit tighter. An age old tip !! And YES I have done that as have many others! Acceptable solution in this case for sure.
Good to see Kim giving you a hand, she's a trooper 👍😃
At least you finally got the quality help that you needed.
Kim is a handy girl to have around. Shes capable. By the way Matt Dont worry about the videos. When they come out they are always quality and I look forward to see them. I expect most of us on this side of the screen do.. I think Sams right about needing primer to help with using a lighter colour. so close.
Kim kicked ass with that welding. I was half paying attention to and did not hear the kim part, just glancing at it, then seeing that, I thought you had that sent to a shop. That is amazing.Great job kim!
Wish I had a Kim around! Much respect.
Good work kim!
Thank you Matt for giving this scraper a second life.
Happy Friday All!
The farmer fix, I have done it and it has been done many times.❤ never lose sight of the end of your project
Good call on waiting and doing the job right!
Seeing 70 years of dirt disappear was almost as satisfying as hearing that Detroit fire up again!
Matt, there is always next year so stop it there go and enjoy the steam show and then complete the scraper when time permits.excellent video. .
