I think one of my favourite stories was from Stephen Fry on QI about a pilot on an Australian flight before taking off. He did the usual pilot stuff and then said "but that's enough yackitty yack from me, it's time to push some service down the aisles and some scenery past the window." Just so cool and laid back

I flew a red eye from San Diego to Newark a few years back. The pilot came and said, " Alright, ladies and gentlemen, we got good weather and smooth flying, so just sit back and relax. We're gonna get you there" or something to that effect in a voice that sounded exactly like Matthew McConaughey. One of the best flights I've ever taken!

Can we just all agree that Jack Whitehall is simply not funny. No matter which show he's on, the stuff he says is so bland and cringe-worthy I feel sorry for the host and the other guests.

When I was in the TA back in the 80s we flew to Belgium in a Herc and the Pilot Announced “in an emergency you can exit by the doors left and right,the large transit ramp you boarded with,or any other large hole that may become available 😂😂😂
