Hi Lana!!! I’m 17 and living at home, I’ve never been able to make friends and my mom is worried about it, but I’ve never felt like friends as a whole were important to me. I volunteer at a nursing home and even though the residents often don’t understand who I am, I find more comfort in knowing they don’t know who I am for some reason. I love my life and I love showing your videos to my mom to show her that yes there is a beautiful and fulfilling life without many friends ❤

Hi Lana, I too live alone with no kids or friends. Nice and peaceful. I love Snoopy too, and I am a young 61 year old. At this age I also have no family. Today would be my Mom's 88th Birthday. I miss her. I have Snoopy's all over my apartment. 😊❤

I recently quit dating apps after going on quite a few dates the past couple of months because I was tired of being disappointed by men I met and I realized how much I enjoy being single. I think your content has helped me be more appreciative of my independence and the happiness I feel in my singleness. I still desire that companionship and if I meet someone more organically then great! But, I’m really happy and content in my life as is.

Helllo, Lana, I sent you the two books by David Eddings and the Booktrovert mug. Glad they found their way to you!!! Those are the first two of a ten book series, and they are one of my favorite series ever. There is a part one (5 books) and a part two (also 5 books). They have a bit of everything - travel, fantasy, family and friends, romance, adventure, and humor - I reread them every now and again still. I know the genre might not be your jam. If you really don't like them, I won't be offended if you pass them along. If you do like the story, there are other sequels you can check out! :)

Financially, it's hard to be single and alone in Canada. I got a roommate to help pay off my place faster, but Canada seems like an impossible place to get ahead in. Im honestly not sure how people are surviving on less than 25/hour today. Where I live in Alberta, the minimum wage is 15/hr, and im not sure how you could survive off that. Im a frugal person, but math is math, and you can only reduce your bills to a certain point, and then there's nothing else to cut.

Lana, about your freedom and lifestyle, I can relate. I'm 59F, single by choice, am also very passionate about freedom, also live in Toronto, and here's what I do: you have a vehicle, one weekend a month take off on Friday and drive somewhere and explore for the weekend. You can even put a mattress and cooler in the back of your SUV, make window shades, and sleep in your vehicle, that's what I have done. I have driven to Algonquin Park, Georgian Bay, Sauble Beach, Keswick, Prince Edward County, etc, there are SO many amazing beautiful places to explore in Ontario that can be done in a weekend. Enjoy!

I also thought it could be good for heating up pie or brownies or making mug cake, then putting ice cream on top after for late night sweet treats ❤ Haha fun fact here; I took a bus from Montreal back to Alberta once and Manitoba felt like a black hole of nothingness that never ended 😂 But Miriam Toews is a gorgeous writer and that story is about road trips, freedom, adventure, and reinvention so I thought of you. 😊 Yay for gifts! They’re so fun to give, especially to people who have such distinct passions and character, and you’re so lovely opening them onscreen 🥰🥰🥰

Love the longer video, Lana. You're wonderful. I didn't want children, and now I'm 47, I've no regrets at all. I had a couple of serious relationships, but I'm always happier on my own and I ended both. Peace over everything for me
