I am all for united not overspending on big names or buying players with united tax, but I still think we need many more players to get a good enough squad depth for the coming season, playing every competition will be very hard if signings are not made.

My issue is that, prospect purchases aside, we haven't added to the existing squad. With Ugarte on the treatment table and Casemiro gone, Santos and Tielemans only plug the gaps. Mount is glass, and Shaw is historically unreliable. We need more quality incomings to manage the huge increase in games. If Zirkzee goes to Juventus, we need three, just for starters, to give Sesko cover and to offset the inevitable crocking of Mount and Shaw. As things stand, we are shoestringing towards Carrick being unfairly dumped before Christmas because the squad just isn't big enough.

Less money spend on transfer = more money goes into glineos pocket.

People are not really paying attention to this summer window. Its actually a difficult one. this has nothing to do with United, look closely, only Spurs have gone out to sign 4 or 5 players overpaying for most. All other clubs have been silent, City signed Anderson early again overpaying then went mute, Chelsea overpaying for Rogers then scraping 35 year olds (Welbeck/Henderson), Arsenal are only finalizing their 2nd signing, Liverpool barely moving. Its a difficult market

If you watched manchester united under Michael carrick, no matter the team he puts out the team still plays the same. That's a good coach. Carrick has a aura about him

The Glazers are in debt and treat Manchester United like a business rather than a football club. Their priority has always been protecting the value of their investment and extracting as much commercial value as possible, rather than building a team capable of dominating on the pitch. That’s the fundamental problem. When the owners look at United, they see an asset. When the supporters look at United, they see a football club. And until those two priorities are aligned, United will continue to feel like a financial project that happens to play football on weekends rather than a football club built to win trophies.

Last time I checked sky sport doesn't speak for Manchester united,if Manchester united wanted to sign 15 players in a window,they know exactly how to go about it... As a united fan I'm honestly satisfied and finally happy we've changed our transfer policy... It seems like they don't plan on overspending,or being rushed into signing players... All these pundits do is make fans react from emotional attachment to everyone splashing in the window... Just notice all they're doing is asking negative questions...
