You should never take one of them Phil mac joiners apart just slacking push pipe in and tightening up
If I’m a slightly tired piece of equipment, winding up on your farm is a dream come true. You take such good care of all your kit.
Hi Adrian hope you’re all well what I did with my old bucket was cut the bottom out weld rebar on the bottom to make a riddle bucket very useful bucket to have
I always like to put a barrow or two of sand or pea gravel over any pipe joints, this helps them resist soil heave working them apart.
Some channels and videos I press Like button straight away and this is one of them👍
God bless the work! You are always on the go! No better man. You have a great pair of hands, a calm demeanor and clear thinking. Continued success.
A digger on the Farm, better still if it is a Takeuchi is really a "Must Have" it makes life so much easier. Thank you for posting.
17:54 cut twice and measure once 😂
Great Job Adrian. You will never be short of work for that wee digger. 👍
you could weld broken sheargrab tines on the old bucket to make it into a landscape rake, worked well for me.
Great content! Takeuchi has a good reputation here in the U.S. Most rental companies use Takeuchi. Diesel Creek (a large YouTube channel in U.S.) is a big fan of the company. Take care and be safe...
Well done good Sir. That digger will serve you well for a long time.
Adrian I’d recommend you leave the insert in the fitting and with the nut loose and just push the pipe into the fitting and then tighten the fitting if that makes sense.
Thats a fierce tidy digger very handy for that job with the leak, saves a bit of work and time, had a similar situation myself last week pipe pulled out of philmac fitting it was under a gap where cattle were tramping through, simple fix thankfully, put the plastic sleeve off a roll of silage wrap over the fitting to protect it from happing again🤞
That s good for sloping ditches without getting a swivel attachment
Suggestion: get a fire extinguisher mounted in the cab of your lovely new digger. Well ware.
Grapple is the next attachment for the digger i'm guessing.
That Takeuchi is gonna make your life so much easier, A tree shear and grab / rake would be some investment for it m. Another great video. 🔝
Right job for the old grading bucket be to get a set of tips and adaptors and you’d have a 4 foot ditching bucket then
Great clip Adrian nice new bucket too great difference from old one more depth bigger depth Amazing how the parts wears too weve same digger does mighty work Flat out with the pipes always an aul burst top stuff keep up great work see you next time 👍🤠
