It because the parking sensor detected something in front of the car probably a fly😂 . It has happened to me a few times best to do is clean the parking sensors

This is why modern cars with ‘safety features’ can be dangerous. Imagine there was a car behind, following too close. They wouldn’t have been able to react to that.

This has happened to me several times with my VW. I think all new cars with tech do this. Imagine that happened on a test and they failed because of it. That would be incredibly sad

Mine likes to do this every now and then, keeps me on my toes 😂 I will be coming up to a parked car or someone walking of the side and BANG my car brake checks me!

The lamppost was casting a very straight and confusing shadow so the car thought it was about to hit a wall I’m assuming but yeah that’s crazy that it can just slam on the breaks at any time for no reason that’s so dangerous 😬
