When I was 12 my best friends older brother was selling his mint all chrome with red and black 1994 free agent eluder for $250. That was the first time in my life I ever locked in and grinded for something I really wanted. I asked one of my other friends where I could make some money and he told me to umpire for the local baseball league because they paid cash one a week for the games you reffed. Ended up doing that job every summer until I was 16 and could work an actual payroll job. Still have that bike hung up in my garage
I mod those razers. For that mx350. 40v dewalt conversion (dual 20s) with a upgraded speed controller turns that toy into a fun bike for teens. They go 22-25 with me on them. These kids need to be taught. You can make anything an ebike. Its just a motor, battery and speed controller. If that kid wants something he needs to work for it and build it if he cant afford it outright.

I started working at 12, and bought my first bmx bike, I was mowing lawns, and cutting 2x4’s on a chop saw. My friends all had nicer bikes than me, I had a crappy $100 Walmart bike, after I saved up and bought a nice bike, my life changed.

kid was literally complimenting the fact that he has a cool scooter and dude took it personally and told him to work harder.
