Carl Hartley was incorrect. Cars are not exempt from inheritance tax. They form part of your estate.

Money is something we all need to live a better and more comfortable life. Life was difficult for me until I started investing in the stock market. I started with $8,000, and within just two weeks, my investment grew to $27k. I’m grateful for how far I’ve come and excited to keep learning and growing.
The supercar market was exactly like this in 2006/07... and then not so much in 2008/09... Had to pay 30k overage to get an R8, then pretty much couldn't give it away 2 years later. Guess people will always believe stuff goes up and up forever... until it doesn't!

You DO pay IHT on cars, they are an asset just like any other asset in your estate, they are not exempt. Love that Mark goes to a second hand car dealer to get him to say that cars are a great investment.
