I know a few VPN services in Russia that offer residential IPs because the government does not scan the traffic to them as thoroughly and rarely blocks. I wonder if this is how they acquire them
Remember y'all, NEVER use any smart feature of the tv, and do not let it connect to your wifi/mobile internet, just have it talks to your PC over HDMI/Display port and that's it.
Sometimes I'm happy it's been roughly 15 years since I've bought a TV.
This is why I bought an Apple TV and disabled the Internet connection from my smart TV. No TV should be smart, period.

I discovered this a year or two ago. WTF takes so long for this type of news to mainstream? It sucks that some of us can't get any traction on important discoveries and it gets buried for months or years. I so hate this world where winners and losers are decided by algorithms and tech giants rather than who figure shit out first.
TVs suck at the internet.
I still haven't accepted any terms of service agreements on my LG tv. Can't use any apps on it and I don't care. That's why I have a PC hooked into it.
