Obviously they won't suddenly have new childhood stories when the show has been on for ages, but everytime, David gets something like this, and then Lee gets "I went to Jupiter with Elton John."

It was obviously a lie when he said it was only for one term. Once a schoolboy gets a nickname, he’s usually stuck with it for life, long after the original reason for it has been forgotten.

I can remember my mate in college used to wear this droopy white wooly hat. He thought it got all the lasses looking at him. It did, but not for the reason he thought. They'd refer to him as the twat in the hat. lol

In primary school i had a nickname of two ties, because i always had a spare tie with me just incase i lost the tie i was wairing somehow or if someone forgot theres, i think my little obsession started because a bully stole my tie and threw somewhere where i couldnt retriever it and i probably got in to trouble for not having a tie even tho it want my falt so i want to make sure something like that could never happen again. Thankfully when i when to high school i got a slightly better nickname from when i blew up a battery 🔋💥 in science and then people called me plug socket because i blamed it on it being dodgy when i pluged it in when the teach asked what had happened 😂

As a kid in the 80s, I had to wear leggings under my school shorts, during winters in Hong Kong because my parents thought leggings were for both boys and girls. I cried but had to wear it but ending up taking them off during recess cos it was so embarassing. Later at home, my parents said they asked a friend of theirs and he told them that I was right! I immediately turned on the water works and milked the situation to get ice cream as a reward for wearing them.
