I also hate the ios-ification of all android OS's apart from stock android. Colour os, hyper os, origin os etc etc are literally just ios. What happened to the clean material pastel look of stock android? Is it so ugly that every single manufacturer has shifted to the glassy aesthetics, and large squircle icons with flashy colours and so on? 🙄 Edit: they should atleast give us the option/customisation to go back to near stock android looks without using launchers and icon packs.

I've been saying this for years, people who truly care for "innovation" aren't even 2% of entire smartphone market. You gotta make phones that cater to mass market with the scale of reliability and polish. Only Samsung can do anything close to it.

It's not a surprise when the prices of Chinese Android phones are basically the same as apple I phones 😅

I believe it is because Apple hasn't increased its prices for the currently available iPhones in many markets. Base iPhone 17 is a fantastic device and when spending that much money people usually go for brand value as well.

Pixel did the same with the 11. I guess smartphone innovation will die due to the memory crisis. Talking about Samsung, they still have different departments for memory etc, they cut down production on budget phones to focus on the higher tier phones.

Is it even fair to compare budget androids to iPhone and then critisize android? Ofc, you can't expect a 20000 realme p4x to perform as goof as iphone 16. It would be more fair to compare 75k+ priced androids to I phones. People shit on androids solely because they had been using those 30-40k ones and then switch to iPhones. Buy an expensive android and you'll realize that there's not much difference. Android provides variety for all economic classes, i phones are for the elite.

I don't mind paying a premium money for engineering and innovation. Thats why I have Oppo find X9 Ultra. Don't want to splurge it just for brand value. 😂
