It's not a "rhubar" - it's a "roo bar", and we only put them on our cars. The ones you show here are called bull bars, and they are a standard feature on Australian rural and outback vehicles for a very good reason!

If you make Australian based content you should use metric measurements not hamburger measurements lmao

I remember riding in my grandpas truck and he hit an elk. He never swerved to avoid it just hit it straight on. I was a child and was upset he didn’t try to miss it. He explained that it was either the elk or the guardrail and the elk lost. I was very young and didn’t understand at the time. But I remember it now and it’s a valuable lesson.

I personally have passed road trains with 5 trailers out in western Queensland.

Clicked of when hearing those ridiculous measurements. 220.000 pounds? Bruh. Pounds are for measure the weight of a steak or a burger. A truck is weighed in TONNES (metric tonnes to be precise).

I thought those bull bars on the front of your trucks were to push away the giant spiders that we all hear that you have.

My brother worked for about 2 years in Alice Springs as a diesel mechanic dealing with road trains. The smallest material in the bull bars was 6'' Dia Steam pipe. The bar work would weigh at least half a ton. The headlights were protected by 1/2 inch bullet proof clear plastic. The bullet proof plastic would get broken when a beast was hit. The bull bar would turn the beast into mince meat, but the truck was saved. If you tried to swerve around an animal you had a high chance of an accident and getting killed.

NEVER swerve to avoid an animal or object with a big rig………even with just a single trailer. Then when you have doubles, triples, etc you add in the whiplash effect! Moose and horses were what scared me the most cuz they have a pretty good chance of coming through your windshield.
