Put it simply : I CAN PLAY Contra on NES from 1988 in 2026, 38 years since the game was released as long as my NES and the game cartdige itself is still working. I CAN WATCH Star Wars a New Hope from 1977 on VHS Tape, 49 years after it was released as long as the VHS tape didn't get damaged. but today, I can't even play many games or watch movies that just released 5 years ago (2020 - 2021) simply because "The server has been shut down" or "our licensing fee for this media has been expired"
