what Top Gear put a Hylux through was the best advert, hit with a wrecking ball, set on fire, left in the sea (completely under water) for over 8 hours, put on top of a block of flats then demolish that block of flats, have an excavator dig the Hylux out of the rubble then have a mechanic with basic hand tools get it going. they dove it into the studio to the surprise of everyone including Totota who later displayed that pickup in the Toyota headquarters.

The best commercial they did was the girl breaking up with her cheating boyfriend and pushing the Tacoma off the cliff only for it to not get hurt then her throwing a fit.

There's a company that's making an electric version of the Hilux and putting the batteries in the frame. It gives extra torque and speed. It'll be interesting to see if the market likes it.

Just love when Aussies say Bugga ! 😂😂😂😂. There were some awesome advertisements all Bugga moments 😂😂😂 highly recommend you look them up. Good laugh
