Yes eminent domain finally being used for good instead of evil

I hate how fighting blatant evil or just obviously horrible decisions is so effing hard.

Remember, a few cups of sugar can ruin a couple tons of concrete

That should be considered animal abuse, to be that close to a zoo, animal sanctuary, ranch, etc.

Even if the data center DOES get the rights and makes its place there, it's almost guaranteed that it'll get torched to the ground given enough disturbance.

If only they weren't so fireproof. Both literally and figuratively.

Last time I heard the words "eminent domain", it was to evict some people from their family home to build powerlines for an AI datacenter. Glad to see it works the other way too.

Exactly, if the government is on the people's side, there is a chance to make a change. When the politicians are corrupt and are on their side, there is no hope.

Hell yeah! I remember hearing about this! Tennessean here, I used to go to that zoo with my family when I was a kid. I remember hearing about this petition maybe a month ago now or so? I'm glad to hear that it's made some real traction!
