Many thanks to Bob for sending these Depusheng XLR Wireless Transmitters to the PO Box. He says they failed on him and he had to buy replacements. The Tx unit no longer takes a charge! Let's take it apart and see if we can work out why and get it working again! Hope you enjoy! Steve PS. I'm not an expert in repairs at all. I do this for fun, and it may not be the best or safest way to go about repairing broken stuff. I'm pretty good at melting plastic though. Please don't copy me - I'm an idiot. Sundays wouldn’t be fundays without Steve.👊🏻😎💯👍🏻
Glad you received them Steve. Lovely to watch you work on them.
And it was going so well
Hello Steve, I'm from Spain, and I wanted to tell you that, besides learning from you, you're entertaining. I love your content. Thanks Steve Best regards, Rafael.
Really loved this one! 😀 Who else thought "Don't put it back together..."?! ;-)
So now we know why you do the rap, to cover up all the swearing while you take thing apart. 😂
Thanks Steve, I've just found this and delighted you were able to give it a go (let alone 'fix' it). I'd have never thought of removing the label but relieved that it wasn't immediately obvious. From there on the repair 'seems' quite do-able with the right kit, some experience and a good eye ... unfortunately I have none of these. 10:30 made me laugh out loud ... If I'd have got that far that would have probably been the point where it was unsalvagable for me. The transmitter does consume battery far quicker than the RX because (I assume) I use the phantom power to drive my mic (Shure SM35) but I still got a reliable 4 hours from it - though, not so reliable when it isn't charged LOL I don't 'think' I've been heavy handed with it but actually it's good to be reminded that the electronics are quite delicate and need a light touch. I love the way you put the vids together ... very entertaining. Really enjoy the commentary. Thank you for taking the time.
Melted plastic. Like an artist leaving his signature.😉
You didn't do Anything wrong, you simply made a boo boo. Your videos make me Happy with Laughter! Great and Entertaining Video! You fixed it too! Thank You.

Solid video Steve...mate. disappointed with the plastic melt ..
One of the better episodes, just for the self-deprecating humor. Great job and editing.
Nice to see Sylvester gets a cameo.
Hello Steve, thanks for all the great content and with watching you and learning about the internal working of electronics, it has helped me diagnose electronic faults in my own life, please keep making content it is entertaining and helpful. All the best Paul
Love your videos.. I love how honest you are and your personality is the best! Peace…
Great work! However, you came very close to destroying it by not removing the aluminium tape before connecting the battery. I was half expecting a kaboom! 😄 Luckily, you got away with it this time. ( oh o, it turned it self on 😄😄😄)
wish you'd say aluminium XD
Never ceases to amaze me your insistence on putting things back together before testing them.
Stez personally left a signature trademark of his work! You know you got a successful repair from Stez when he leaves parts melted. lol
