Venom, fond of Mrs. Chen and frustrated by Eddie’s strict rules, quarrels and separates from Eddie after a prison case with serial killer Kasady. Kasady swallows Eddie’s blood and becomes Carnage, a brutal new symbiote. After failing to bond with new hosts, Venom reunites with Eddie with Anne’s help. However, Carnage and Shriek kidnap Anne. To save her, Eddie and Venom head to a church. Lured by Eddie’s food promise, the timid Venom finally prepares to fight powerful Carnage.
